January 25, 2005 My hair is in my eyes and I hate that!

Everyone is making me nuts today. I had an interview earlier though - and maybe it went well. I can never tell, really. You think you do great and you never hear from them again - you think you bombed they want you. Ok, so the latter has never happened to me before, just lots and lots of the former. Hmph. But we'll see.

Otherwise, I have a headache and too much work to do and if the phone doesn't quit ringing I may go completely postal. Whine Whine Whine.

January 24, 2005 Worst Day of the Year?

What it boils down to today is that I am just completely emotionally spent. It seems I spend all my time just trying to make it through the next day. And it's getting old.

This weekend, we watched Moonlight Mile with Jake Gyllenhaal. He was pretty much the only redeeming factor in the entire movie. It started off with the makings of a good storyline, but it just came off as contrived and unrealistic. But, he's hot, so I sat through it. LOL

Also, I am about 70% back in my own office - WOO! There are still some straggling desk items and notebooks that need to be found - but I have my phone and my computer operational. It is sooo lovely.

And my husband came and took me to lunch.

So, while it still sucks, maybe January 24 isn't as bad as they make it out be.

January 18, 2005 it's like Monday, only it's Tuesday

Yesterday's plan for doing some work online was foiled by our unstable internet connection, grr. But, it gave me a good chance to roll up a super-big katamari ;) and catch up on some reading as well. I need to create a book category.

My thoughts are kind of everywhere lately. I haven't updated simply because I can't stay on track long enough. But I've been feeling happy and good, so it's all okay.

Work is pretty nutty today because we are undergoing a "monitoring" - which is like a review, which means everyone has their panties in a twist - LOL. I'm doing my best to stay here and my desk, get caught up and stay out the way.

And yea, there goes my train of thought - it just left the station.
